The artist draws from the Arts of millennial civilizations to represent her. He is inspired as much by the idols of the Cycladic islands in Greece as by the female figures of African art. These multiple influences lead him to imagine hieratic figures with insect mandibles and tiny heads in contrast with a large body whose attributes are exacerbated. This desire refers to the ancestral custom of personifying fertility, thus setting up these figures as divinities qualified by some as Mother Goddesses.
