SPECTACULAR TRANSITION COMMODE with double central projection and rear projection. It is made of precious wood veneer decorated with a rich central marquetry of musical instruments and a score framed with quatrefoils on a green wood background. The sides are inlaid with flower vases and large laurel garlands. The top is inlaid with lozenges and quatrefoils. It opens with 5 drawers in 3 rows, 2 of which have no rails. The sides are richly inlaid with Antique-style vases entwined with laurel garlands on perspective backgrounds. The rounded uprights are highlighted with green wood fluting. The legs are curved and faceted. Rich gilded bronze ornamentation. Aleppo Breche marble top. Trace of stamp. Eighteenth century. W.130 D.61 H.90.
