OLD ORACLE Mouse box in wood, iron, terracotta and plant fiber. Ivory Coast. Dim.20cm. Provenance: Private collection. The diviner would place twigs in the box, on top of which he would place a live mouse. This piece took part in the exhibition "D'hier et d'aujourd'hui, la folle esthétique de l'Afrique" at the Musée d'histoire de la médecine in Paris in 2017/2018.
