SHOOTING PISTOL CASE signed CLAUDIN in PARIS. The case is in ebony with brass filleting around the rim and a central escutcheon bearing the crowned initials. The interior is made of gold-stamped velvet with the Arquebusier's name. It holds a 5.5 or 6mm pistol. The stock is carved ebony. The barrel is blued, fluted and marked in gold letters CLAUDIN à PARIS. The fittings are engraved polished and glazed steel. Complete with accessories in fine condition. Box 42x16.
