MICALEFF Alexis, Received Master in 1756. EXCEPTIONAL PAIR OF SILVER FLAMBEAUX resting on a contoured circular base decorated with alternating staples and foliate cartouches. The umbilicus is decorated with a torus of rushes at the base, and with fleurons, palmettes and interlacing on an amatized background at the top. The shaft is tapered at the bottom, with alternating sides and flutes decorated with garlands, staples and leafy shells. The vase-shaped tap has recessed ribs and sides, with well-marked staples and foliate shells. These torches can be considered the masterpiece of the silversmith. Paris 1772. H.24. Weight 1281grs.
