Gabriel Senac de Meilhan, On Government, Customs, and Conditions in France before the Revolution, with the Character of the Main Characters of the Reign of Louis XVI. In Hamburg, with Benjamin Gottlob Hoffmann, 1795. In-8 of (6)-216 pp., brown half-basane, smooth spine decorated with a double motif of a basket of flowers and a bird with an egret, red morocco title piece (contemporary binding). First edition "very rare" according to Escoffier. Work written during the emigration, the most remarkable of this author with the Emigrant.
