CHEVIGNY, Master in 1768 (Attributed to). ORIGINAL PAIR OF LOUIS XVI CHAIRS in white lacquered wood, finely carved on the legs with Corinthian columns. The medallion-shaped Queen's back features large pine cones, rows of pearls and laurel garlands. The armrests are ball-shaped and covered with foliage. Very nicely upholstered. 18th c. H.95 L.60 P.46.
