MAZARIN DESKTOP with curved front and curved doors in native wood veneer with fine marquetry of a flower bowl framed by 2 birds in foliate and floral interlacing. The curved front features 6 curved drawers framed by console jambs and a door topped by a curved drawer, all inlaid with foliate and floral garlands. It stands on 8 sheathed baluster legs joined by a double X-shaped brace and gilded wooden loaf feet (restorations). Early 18th century. W.109 D.66 H.81.
