BONTEMPS (Attributed to). LARGE octagonal whistling bird cage with gilded wood base decorated with mascarons. The cage is in brass decorated with bronze birds. Inside, a bird with pretty polychrome feathers sits on a bar. The bird whistles as it turns its head from right to left and from left to right. Circa 1900. H.51 L.29 P.29.
