CORDIE. BONHEUR DU JOUR TRANSITION DESKTOP in rosewood veneer, violet wood separated by a small boxwood fillet. The top opens with 2 small drawers and 2 curtains. The top unfolds to reveal 2 compartments and a pull-out, as well as a leather top and 2 small drawers in the lower section. The legs are finely curved and end in rolling hooves. Stamped. Eighteenth century. W.64 D.45 H.102. An identical model is reproduced in Pierre KJELBERG's book under the reference CORDIE.
