GUILLOTINE SCRIBAN COMMODE in violet wood veneer with leaf and fillet inlays. The lower part forms a chest of drawers and opens with 5 slightly curved drawers. Pinched rib mounts. It is topped by a flap with niches and drawers and a leather top with secret drawers. The upper part has 2 doors with glass backs, and a beautiful interior with numerous drawers and niches. Stamped by LANDRIN Germain (some missing veneer). 18th c. H.213 L.103 P.57. Literature: Many of Pierre II MIGEON's furniture pieces were made by LANDRIN.
