Lyon silks. Important manuscript, in 3 volumes in-folio. T.I, weaving course, 157ff. T.II, study of shaped fabrics, 242ff. T.III, façonnés, 138ff. all three volumes are dated in pencil at the end "juillet 1929", modern half-maroquin Bradel, with André Goirand's name on the spine. These works are thought to have come out of courses at the Lyon weaving school, and are of a high quality of execution, both for the gouaches of the weaves and for the selected samples. A rare and superb document.
