EXCEPTIONAL LOUIS XV COMMODE, curved on the front and flared on the sides, in martin varnish in imitation of European lacquers. It is beautifully decorated with pagodas amidst dreamlike rocky landscapes. It opens with 2 drawers without rails, bronze handles with foliage and ribbon motifs, an antique vase lamp base and foliage-motif escutcheons. The sides are decorated with figures on a terrace set in a wooded lake landscape. Aleppo Breche marble top. Trace of stamp. 18th c. W.107 D.52 H.86.
