The tripod base is in the form of iron with a black patina and decorated with foliate scrolls. They rest on a circular wooden plate. H.87 Diam.42. Provenance: These armchairs come from the "Le Bretagne" liner, in service in August 1886, on the Le Havre - New-York line.
