Designed by Citroën to democratize the individual car, its mechanical simplicity, light weight and low maintenance costs made it particularly popular with a wide public. With its characteristic torpedo silhouette, open and uncluttered, the 5 HP offered an authentic driving experience, reminiscent of the pleasure and freedom of the early days of the automobile. Handy and economical, it was perfectly suited to the roads of the time.
